Our
skeletons provide us with a very effective frame upon which we are
all built. We share a similar inner
architecture with millions of other known species that depend on
a skelatal structure to support muscles,
tendons, organs, and tissues. Skulls in particular have been used
in ceremonies or in art as symbols of death
and mortality for more than a millenia. When a body is stripped
down to it's basic foundations, it showcases
the commonality we share will other mammals and reinforces the notion
that as humans, we too are animals.
