Even
chaos isn't completely chaotic, according to scientists who study
chaos theory.
What may at first seem unpredictable and out of control eventually
reveals patterns,
predictability, or purpose. The seeming randomness of poured paint
on this artwork,
upon closer look, reveals the dribbles as a series of deliberate
patterns meant to
distibute paint lines and dots relatively evenly over the textured
surface of the
art in cursive-like forms. And pressed within the embossed three-dimensional
surface are my two handprints.
